Details: The Rheostatics, live @ the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, December 10, 2005. This was the 3rd night of their 10 night stand at the Horseshoe. I missed the 1st 2 nights but I made it out for this show. It was recorded from about 10ft back from the stage on the left side, so the levels are a bit higher on that side. Sound quality is very nice in my opinion but there were a few drop outs, these occured on the following tracks - D1 track 08, D1 track 10, D2 Track 04, D2 track 08, and D2 Track 12. I have done some editing in Audacity to edit out these gaps so there are a few spots that have tiny cuts, some of the edits are completely unnoticable. These edits don't ruin the recording at all so don't let them scare you off. The only other problem I had during this recording was an error caused by me, I forgot to press record after switching tapes so the first few minutes of "Feed Yourself" are missing. I hope these small problems don't scare anyone off of this great recording. The band was in high spirits as usual and were jamming on some covers a little during their songs, some Neil Young, some others that I can't remember right now and during Clair I'm sure Martin was playing the intro for The Who's "Baba O'riley" around the 3:45 mark. There was a keyboard player with the band all night as well but I couldn't make out his name.
